Each Measures:- 24 cm high x 32.5 cm wide
An impressive set of vintage tooled leather, rectangular placemats with rounded edges. Very typical of the work of Florentine leather workers from Florence, Italy (but unmarked) and almost certainly dating to the 1960's or early 1970's. The olive green leather with a tooled and gold leaf border, blind stamped outer edge and gilded detail to the centre. The leather mounted to wooden boards with green baize affixed to the undersides.
Condition:-
Generally in good condition. Light usage. Some wear to the edges etc and a few marks to the leather - but still extremely elegant and attractive and very cool.
