A Very Superior Quality Antique Silver Plated Biscuit Barrel or Ice Bucket
Chased & Engraved With A Stag Crest & Monogram

Measures:-
16.5 cm high (21.5 cm with handle up) x 13 cm diameter

Marked to the underside with a crowned anchor and banners shield mark and with "Warranted hand soldered" and with a registration/pattern number "1131" / "4". Engraved with a stag crest to one side and "EVTRC" (?) monogram to the other.

A wonderful English, silver plated biscuit barrel (which would be equally useful as an ice bucket/pail). With an attractive swivel handle with reeded decoration. The plate in excellent condition to the outside, slightly pitted and spotted within. Slight dent to the bottom band on gadrooning.

A very practical and beautiful object.
