Very attractive and neatly completed geometric cigar band decoupage plates, each with approximately 105 cigar bands applied to the pottery in geometric radiating 'sunburst' circles (variously 'Exquisite Hyperion', 'Havana Blend, & 'Irving' bands).
The marks on the Staffordshire pottery plates beneath indicate that these were probably decorated in the 1930's.
This type of tobacciana folk-art decoration was popular in the early 20th Century. Would now make a fascinating wall decoration for a country house billiards or games room.
