A very striking and beautifully engineered box, designed by Christofle France. The elegantly simple silver-plated rectancular box-base is topped with a large slab of lucite, the exact dimensions of the box below. This gives it a sculptural quality almost reminiscent of the work of Donald Judd (1928–1994).
Very good condition. Minimal wear to the metal. Very few marks to the lucite.
The box is beautiful empty - but we can't help think that it would look amazing filled with "Sobranie Cocktail" cigarettes!
