A very attractive antique framed mercury glass mirror. The original plate with a nice balance of spotting and oxidising. The water gilded frame nicely aged with the red bole showing through beneath the rubbed gilding.
The business of Henry John Murcott (1835-1910) was run from 6 Endell St, Long Acre from 1878 and after 1913 was acquired by his son Harry Charles Murcott (1870-1947).
