A sweet image taken from an unidentified early 19th Century French edition of "Spring" from "The Seasons" by the Scottish poet James Thomson (1700-1748). First published in 1730 "The Seasons" was translated into French by the naturalist and author Joseph-Philippe-François Deleuze (1753-1835) in 1801.
