One of Brustoloni's highly sought after 18th Century engraving's of the Venetian festivals, after an image by Canaletto.

Lettered along bottom with the artist's details 'Antonius Canal pinxit / Jo. Bap. Brustolon inc.' and the title 'Expleto a Serenissimo DUCE in getatoria sede Magnae Divi Marci plateae circitu supra gigantum scalam toto spectante Electorum coetu a seniore Consiliario gemmato Cornu regia praefulgente populo coronatur, eoque insignitus ad fenestram spendido ornatam stragulo denuo populum alloquitur.'

The publisher's details seemingly trimmed or obscured by the current old mount.
