A very attractive late Victorian print of the rare and sought after mezzotint by Valentine Green, A.R.A (1739-1813) after by Lemuel Francis Abbott (1760-1803).
Abbott's celebrated picture represents William Innes (1719-1795) dressed in his uniform of Captain of the Blackheath Society of Golfers and his caddie who wears the uniform of a Greenwich Hospital Pensioner.
Presented in an beautifully mellowed fashion and in a very superior black lacquered frame.
