Mint condition, as new, never read. Leather boards protected by a mylar jacket. Minor blemishes to the slipcase. Sixty-five illustrations by Landseer, Maclise, Leech, Tenniel, Stanfield, etc.  Introduction by Eleanor Farjeon. The five Christmas Books are: "A Christmas Carol"; "The Chimes"; "The Cricket on the Hearth"; "The Battle of Life"; "The Haunted Man".
